Flip-face photoshop project
(Mon. - Tue.) - Students will watch the first part of the DVD "Go Above and Beyond Auto," taking notes and being involved in a discussion.
"I will begin my understanding of the functions of a DSLR camera (F/stops, shutter speeds, depth of field) by watching a DVD and taking notes."
(Wed.) - Students will take the first part of the "Go Above and Beyond Auto" test. After the test, students will us a DSLR to shoot mug shots of their classmates which will be used in tomorrow's Flip-Face Photoshop project.
"By remembering what I learned from the DVD, I will answer correctly as much as I can on the first part of the test."
(Thurs.-Fri.) - While following the step-by-step tutorial, students will complete the Flip-face Photoshop project and create a 1 row by 3 column proof sheet (containing the original, two rights and two lefts) in Photoshop CC and placing the finished JPEG in the shared Google Drive folder. On Friday, students will also be introduced to a new photo shoot, Abstract photos, getting hints about shooting them, finding out the deadline and seeing examples.
"I will see how symmetrical my face is when I combine two left sides and two right sides using Photoshop."
