35-object assignment (Due Tuesday, Feb. 14)Gallery of upcoming photo assignments and Photoshop ProJEcts for second semester
(Mon.) Introduction, PowerPoint show on big screen of upcoming photo assignments and Photoshop projects for the semester.
(Tues.) - Students will get to know their classmates in class by interviewing a person next to them and also being interviewed by that partner. "Mug shot" photos will also be taken of each other. (Wed.) - Students will work on "Getting to Know You" PowerPoint shows, which be presented to class on another day. Any "mug shots" not taken will be shot. (Thurs.) - Getting to Know You PowerPoint (or Google Slides) shows will begin to be presented to the class on the big screen. (Fri.) - Students will see examples of their first shooting assignment (35-Object) and be told about shooting tips and a deadline. (Tues.-Fri.) - Within their groups, students will begin editing their still-photo movies: creating titles, adding photos, adding the song, special effects,etc.
(Mon.) - Students will either work on their still-photo movie storyboard or resume. They will also search the internet for a background photo that will be needed for tomorrow's Green Screen assignment.
(Tues). - (FC) Students will work on choosing their background internet photo for the Photoshop green screen project, work on the caption for the yearbook photo, or begin to work on the resum. (Main campus) - In small groups, students will go to the library to pose in front of the green screen (wall) while their classmates shoot their photos. Students may also work on the resume when not in the library. Students will watch about the first five minutes of the YouTube green screen tutorial to complete the project. (Wed,-Fri.) - Students will continue to work on their Green Screen project, resume or begin building their movies.
(Tues.) - Students will watch a few still-photo movies, the criteria and deadlines for the project will be distributed and students (in groups of one, two, three or four) will begin brainstorming their song. Also, students will see examples of green screen Photoshop projects and think about which photo from the internet they may use for a background.
(Wed.) - Groups will print out and turn in copies of the song lyrics of the song used for the still-photo movie. (Thurs.-Fri.) - While in their groups, students will complete a 30-panel storyboard for their still-photo movie. |
