(Mon.) - Students will go over the results of the third part of the "Go Above and Beyond Auto," receive their final graded photos (best action and landscapes), and fill out a group evaluation of their still-photo movies.
"My group and I will fill out a form and critique our recent still-photo movie, especially evaluating how we worked together and listing the strengths and weaknesses of our project."
(Tues.) - The class will leave the building and go out on a photo-shoot walk to the Meadowbrook Bridge (main campus students will make it as far the dog walk park across from Snoqualmie Elementary School).
"I will shoot an interesting walk photo (also think about and use the composition elements learned throughout the semester) by observing places, people and things within the class period of the walk."
(Wed.) - Students will bring in a fruit which will be the subject of the lighting project (final) in class, shooting photos in shallow depth of field, a simple background, observing the rules of thirds, using tones and having a dramatic shadow.
"I will demonstrate my knowledge of the rule of thirds, how F/stops affect depth of field and how light affects a subject by shooting the food (fruit) project final "
(Thursday, Friday, or next Monday) - To complete the final, students will receive a printed photo of their shots on Wednesday and complete the required reflective writing.
"I will analyze how and why I shot the final lighting project (fruit) by completing a series of reflective questions."
