(Mon.) - Last day for students to present their Famous Photographer PowerPoint Speech. Also, students will receive information, deadlines and view examples of their next photo shoot: abstracts.
"I will demonstrate my speech and communication abilities by presenting a 3-minute famous photographer speech to the class, having good eye contact and volume of voice. I will also be a good audience member when listening to my classmates' speeches."
(Tues.) - Students will watch the Discovery Channel DVD, "Unsolved History: JFK, Death in Dealey Plaza," which features the photos and movies shot on Nov. 22, 1963 in Dallas.
"I will understand more about one of the most historical days in American history by watching an investigation of the photos and movies shot at the JFK assassination."
(Wed.) - Students will continue to work on their Portfolio using Google (see the Oct. 23-27 pages in MountSiPhoto.weebly.com for template files, an example of a portfolio, and a YouTube tutorial how to create the portfolio). The portfolio is due the end of the period, Friday, Dec. 1. Students may also work on their Greenscreen project.
"I will display my best photos and Photoshop projects so far and reflect in writing about them in my Google portfolio."
(Thurs.) - Using one of their favorite photos, students will create a 2018 calendar (either horizontal or vertical) by completing the steps in Photoshop. The completed calendar should be sent to the shared folder in Google Drive.
"I will follow the directions in the tutorial and use my Photoshop skills (including the free transform and duplicating a layer) to create a 2018 photo calendar."
(Thurs.) - Using one of their favorite photos, students will create a 2018 calendar (either horizontal or vertical) by completing the steps in Photoshop. The completed calendar should be sent to the shared folder in Google Drive. Students will also begin receiving their graded Landscape and Action photos.
"I will follow the directions in the tutorial and use my Photoshop skills (including the free transform and duplicating a layer) to create a 2018 photo calendar."
(Fri.) - Students will use the time to wrap up working on their Portfolio, Green screen or photo calendar projects.
"I will finish my work on recent projects (Calendar, Green Screen, Portfolio).
