(Mon.) - Step by step, students will follow along to create a practice movie using Windows Movie Maker software.
"I will create a practice still-photo movie by adding titles, photos, audio, transitions and visual effects."
(Tues.) - Students will begin working on their resume assignment (a CTE Department requirement). A template will be given, but students may also use their own format..(Note: seniors are exempted from this assignment because they already turned in a resume while doing their required occupation speeches).
"I will include at least one work experience in completing my resume. I understand all information must be factual."
(Wed.) - In pairs, students will shoot their shooting final, using an apple or orange and LED light. Students will turn in their best photo to the shared Google Drive folder. When not shooting, students will work on their still-photo movies.
"I will complete my shooting portion of the final by shooting an apple (or orange) with shallow depth of field, have the LED light cast a dramatic shadow and place the apple in my frame by using the rule of thirds."
(Thurs.) - Students will receive a printed print of the shooting final taken yesterday. Using a given form, students will write and reflect about yesterday's shoot.They will attach the writing to their photo and turn it in for grading.
"In writing, I will answer the required questions regarding why and how I shot the shooting final (rule of thirds, shallow depth of field, distinctive shadow)."
(Fri.) - "Last Blast" - Few classes will meet because of yearbook distribution, school festivities, etc.
