--Students will get an evaluation of their 10-weight proofsheets recently turned in. --Students will load their walk photos into the computer,
creating a folder and a proof sheet. After turning in the proof sheet, they will choose their best walk photo, edit it in Photoshop, then turn that best photo in for printing and grading. --Students will go on a photo-shooting "walk.," leaving school, going to the bridge, then proceeding to the dog-walk park across from Snoqualmie Elementary School, before returning to class. This is one of their three upcoming photo assignments.
--Students will continue to edit their best photos from the recent "10 weights" that were turned in last week.
--Students will begin working on (editing) their best photos of the 10 weights shot. Once edited, the photos will be turned into the drop box where each category is represented by a folder.
--The first 10 "weights" are due today..Students will turn in proof sheets by the end of the period. -- Looking, Writing and Seeing #1 will be assigned (due in one week).
--Students will complete the "24 Faces" exercise, going into a room, rotating as the photographer, model and light person. Students will use the school's digital SLR, a flashlight and a tripod.
--Students will complete the depth of field exercise by going outside and setting up six photos, three with shallow depth of field (F/2.8) and three with excellent depth of field (F.11)
Digital workflow editing exam -- Students will open a folder of photos, make changes with Photoshop or the camera raw settings, then turn them in to be graded.
