(Mon.) - Students will finish their short summations of a theme book and present it to the class. Students will also write their themes on the board and storyboard their ideas for the photo book by drawing15 frames on the storyboard.
"I will distinguish what makes a good theme in a photo book by browsing through a professional photo book and be able to report the book's highlights to my classmates."
(Tues.) - Students will either complete their storyboards or shoot HDR photos within small groups. After shooting the HDR photos, students will complete the needed work done in Photoshop to complete the project.
"I will develop ideas for my Photo Book project by drawing (15 panels) pictures on a storyboard which represent possible photos in my book."
(Wed.-Thurs.) - Students will begin watching the DVD about Ansel Adams.
"I will recognize and identify techniques used in shooting landscapes by watching a DVD about America's most famous landscape photographer, Ansel Adams."
(Fri.) - Students will reflect on the movie about Ansel Adams, writing answers to a page of questions.
"I will demonstrate my knowledge of information learned from watchin the Ansel Adams DVD by completing a reflection written assignment."
