"I will continue my understanding of the functions of a DSLR camera (F/stops, shutter speeds, depth of field) by watching a DVD and taking notes."
(Tue.) After going through two Socratives containing questions about F/stops, shutter speeds, ISO, depth of field for a review, students will take the second part of the "Go Above and Beyond Auto" test.
"By remembering what I learned from the DVD and my notetaking, I will answer correctly as much as I can on the second part of the test."
(Wed.) - Weather permitting, students will go outside and in groups of four shoot the depth of field practice photos (each student will shoot three students spread out vertically at F/1.8 and F/16).
"I will demonstrate how F/stops affect depth of field by shooting photos of my classmates with extreme F/stops (F/1.8 and F/16)."
(Thurs. - Fri.) - After using a tripod and shooting five photos of the same scene with different light (0, +1, +2, -1, -2), students will complete the HDR project by following the Photoshop directions.
"I will follow the HDR directions carefully, making sure I finish the project with three photos: (the "0" first shot, the photorealistic version and the "fancy" HDR effect).
